SM Entertainment revealed that one more idol has been exposed to COVID-19. SHINee's Key tested positive for COVID-19 on March 2, 2022.
This was conveyed by SM Entertainment, which was just released. SHINee's Key underwent a PCR test after feeling unwell.
"SHINee's Key did not feel well and tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing a rapid test. He was then tested by PCR and got the same results this morning," said SM Entertainment.
"Key has received two doses of vaccination. He then immediately stopped all activities and is currently undergoing self-isolation and receiving treatment according to the advice of the medical team," he continued.
SM Entertainment also confirmed that it would cooperate with the medical team for Key's recovery. They promised to prioritize the idol's health and safety.
"We will follow all quarantine recommendations and do our best so that Key can focus on treatment and recovery. The health and safety of our artists is the top priority," said SM Entertainment.
Previously, SM Entertainment announced a number of Super Junior members members had also tested positive for COVID-19. They immediately stopped all activities and underwent self-quarantine.
