G-Dragon BIGBANG and IU Become the Richest Idols from Copyright Royalty

BIGBANG G-Dragon and IU are the only idols on the list of the richest celebrities from copyright royalties in South Korea. G-Dragon is in 6th place, while IU is at 8th.

Reporting from AllKpop , the Entertainment Company Live broadcast by KBS 2TV on Friday, March 11, 2022 featured a list of the Richest Celebrities of Copyright Royalties. Only G-Dragon and IU made it onto the list.

G-Dragon has 174 songs registered under his name, and he is described as the original singer-songwriter in the K-Pop industry, as well as G-Dragon leading the K-Pop craze by KBS.

He has many hits such as Haru Haru, Lies, Last Farewell, Heartbreaker, and Bang Bang Bang . G-Dragon was also introduced as the most famous singer and producer in the K-Pop industry, in other words he was always considered the artist who led the Korean Wave, quoted from Kbizoom .

Meanwhile, ranking 8th, IU has 72 songs registered under her name. KBS named it the Composer of the Year Award, which is very meaningful and emphasizes how important it is for the female singer's musical career. Some of the songs that made IU famous are Blueming, BbiBbi, Celebrity , and Twenty-Three.

Recently, IU recorded an impressive achievement through the album Palette , which was released in 2017. A popular online community in Korea made a note on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 that IU's fourth album has been streamed nearly one billion times.

IU also recently collaborated with Jay Park through the song Ganadara which was released on Friday, March 11, 2022. Ga Na Da Ra is the beginning of the Korean alphabet.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will be making a comeback with BIGBANG in the spring of this year. BIGBANG, which consists of G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung, prepared a new song as a sign of their first comeback as a group after four years since the release of Flower Road in March 2018.
